In accordance with the Strategy for informing the public on Montenegro's accession to the EU from 2014 to 2018. (hereinafter: Communication Strategy) and the Action Plan for 2014, the British Council, in the framework of the project "Informing about the EU and IPA programs in Montenegro" implemented in favor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) with co-financing EU Delegation to Montenegro, the British Embassy in Podgorica and the MFAEI, 25 November 2014, announced
CONTEST for song choice of process of European integration ME4EU, EU4ME (Me for Europe, Europe for me)
In accordance with the objectives into raising the level of interest for EU themes, with the aim of better understanding the process of Montenegro's EU integration, the British Council invites authors of music that are registered in Montenegro to apply for the contest.
The song should contribute to raising the level of interest in topics related to the EU and citizens closer to the benefits of EU integration, with special emphasis on youth. The aim is that, after the selection of song EU accession process, through performance contribute to greater interest in the European integration process among the citizens. The song should include messages defined within Communication Strategy (http://www.mvpei.gov.me/biblioteka/strategije).
Compositions which will be sent to the contest must not be previously performed, with a maximum duration of about 3'30 ".
Contest documents should include:
Name of the author / group of authors;
The composition in the MP3 format in demo version;
Biography (references) of the author / group of authors.
Compositions should be sent to: The British Council, Ulcinjska 8, Gorica C, 81000 Podgorica.
Deadline: 24 December 2014 until 16.00h.
An expert jury will select the best proposal received which will be granted funds in the amount of € 4,000 for the production of songs (music, text, capture and execution). The choice of songs will be announced no later than February 1 2014 on the websites: www.britishcouncil.me and www.mvpei.gov.me.
