Final Programme Conference was held in Zagreb

The results achieved under the IPA  Cross-Border Program Croatia - Montenegro 2007-2013 were presented in Hotel Academia in Zagreb on 24 October 2017, within joint Final Programme Conference, which also included IPA cross-border programmes among Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Croatia and Serbia.
The programme began in 2008 and through three Calls for proposals, 18 projects were contracted with a total value of about EUR 6.8 million. A total of 85 partners participated in these projects, of which one third are public institutions / enterprises, and at a slightly lower percentage non-governmental organizations, then  municipalities and counties, educational institutions, business associations, development agencies, international organizations and sports clubs.
The projects have been prepared according to the principle of cross-border partnership between institutions and organizations from Montenegro and Croatia and were divided into three priority measures: Measure 1.1. Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection, Measure 1.2. Joint tourism and cultural space and Measure 1.3. Small cross-border community development projects.
During the past nine years Operating structures, Contracting Authorities and Joint Technical Secretariat organized more than 80 different trainings, meetings and conferences with the purpose of promoting the Programme, educating and providing support for potential applicants and beneficiaries of selected projects. These events were attended by around 2200 participants from Montenegro and Croatia.
Details of the projects, achieved results and realized benefits were presented to the participants by representatives of the programme, and the conference was opened by the Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds in the Republic of Croatia Ms. Gabrijela Žalac.

Training for beneficiaries of the 3rd CfP on preparation of the final report

Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) with the support of Contracting authorities; Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro (DEU MNE) and Agency for regional development of the Republic of Croatia (ARD), organized one day Training for beneficiaries of the 3rd CfP on preparation of the final report.
The purpose of the training was to present the steps in the preparation of Final report, with more specific details about Final report as a grant contract obligation, components of the Final report, process of sending it to the Contracting Authority and preparation of financial part of Final report, further explanation of its annexes, payment request, preparation of the narrative part and procedure of approving Final report. Participants actively participated in the discussion with the lecturers (Kristina Brbora and Perica Pušić from JTS) related to necessary information during the whole training and especially with representatives of the both Contracting authorities.
Training was held in the premises of University Campus in Dubrovnik on 27 September 2017 and a total of 17 participants from both sides of the border attended training.

Training for preparation of Interim report for Croatian beneficiaries of the 3rd CfP was held in Split

Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia (ARD) with the support ofJoint Technical Secretariat (JTS) organized one day training for Croatian beneficiaries of the 3rd CfP for preparation of Interim report.
The purpose of the training was to present the steps in the preparation of Interim report, with more specific details about Interim report as a grant contract obligation, components of the Interim report, process of sending it to the Contracting Authority and preparation of financial part of Interim report, further explanation of its annexes, payment request, preparation of the narrative part and procedure of approving Interim report. Participants actively participated in the discussion with the lecturers (Veljko Radić, Sanela Orjević and Kristijan Futač from ARD, as well as Perica Pušić from JTS) related to necessary information during the whole training and especially in the final part of training, after presentations were completed.
Training was held in the premises of Split-Dalmatia County in Split on 04 July 2016 and a total of 20 participants, of which 15 representatives of Croatian grant beneficiaries, attended training.

Training for preparation of Interim report for Montenegrian beneficiaries of the 3rd CfP was held in premises of MFAEI in Podgorica

Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro (DEU MNE)with the support ofJoint Technical Secretariat (JTS) organized one day training for Montenegrian beneficiaries of the 3rd CfP for preparation of Interim report.
The purpose of the training was to present the steps in the preparation of Interim report, with more specific details about Interim report as a grant contract obligation, components of the Interim report, process of sending it to the Contracting Authority and preparation of financial part of Interim report, further explanation of its annexes, payment request, preparation of the narrative part and procedure of approving Interim report. Participants actively participated in the discussion with the lecturers (Kristina Brbora and Perica Pušić from JTS) related to necessary information during the whole training and especially in the final part of training after presentations were completed, with Donata Von Sigsfeld, representative of the DEU MNE.
Training was held in the premises of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro (MFAEI), in Podgorica on 26 July 2016 and a total of 20 participants, of which 17 representatives of Montenegrian grant beneficiaries, attended training.

Implementation workshop for the project from the reserve list which is financed under 3rd CfP

Implementation workshop for Association „MI“,  grant beneficiary of the project „Open up a borders for adventure and new travel opportunities“ within 3rd Call for Proposals under the IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro 2007-2013 was held on 5 May 2016 in the premises of the Dubrovnik University Campus.

The representatives of the Association „MI“ attended at Implementation workshop, as well as representative of the Contracting Authority Veljko Radić from Agency for Regional Development and representatives of the Joint Technical Secretariat Kristina Brbora and Perica Pušić which presented to beneficiary themes as a project management, reporting and requests for payment, Amendments to the contract, secondary procurement, instructions for documenting the expenditures, eligibility of the costs and VAT exemptions procedures and communication and visibility of EU financing.
