3rd and 4th Cross Border Swimming and Water polo Campuses were organized

Third Cross Border Water polo Campus was held from 10th to 14th June 2016 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro for 80 children and youth, 5 coaches and 2 members of project team composed of partners and associates water polo clubs.
Fourth Cross Border Water polo Campus was held from 5th to 10th October 2016 in Korcula, Croatia.
Agendas were tailored for each Campus separately among project partners and associates in cooperation with some of the best world’s water polo champions such as Vladimir Gojović national selector of Montenegro and Veselin Đuho, one of the most successful and famous Croatian players and coaches in order to answer in a best possible way to participants general and professional needs. Training programs were run by the coaches and designed to improve both the individual player’s skills and the overall team’s game. Individual player’s improved skills and understanding of the game are combined, resulting in the steep increase in overall team’s performance.
Within each Cross Border Water Polo Campus were organized matches of teams composed of mixed players Montenegrins and Croats. This technique served to increase level of children’s ‘’trust building’’ in the pool among players from different sides of border. Children and youth participating in the Campus also had an opportunity to meet and work with some of the most successful water polo national representatives from Montenegro and Croatia, such as Boris Zlokovič, Vladimir Gojković and Nikola Janović. This aspect was very important for children and youth to have direct and personal contact with positive adult role modelwho spend time with them in pool and outside the pool.
This activity was carried out in order to provide youth interaction both in the pool and during the free time within the Campus. This interaction  influenced positively prejudice and intolerance among participants towards each other, which was confirmed through the evaluations where the most of participants stated that hanging around and spending time with other participants was one of the best things on Campus. Subactivities “Organization of 4 EU Open Days for children and youth” and “Organization of 4 Lectures on Health&Sports” were organized within each Campus with relevant external experets (EU experts mr Ana Selić and mr Vlado Dedović, MD Predrag Dabočić) who held presentations for participants.

Also, the problem of unadequate sports infrastructure is expressed, as the one out of main precondition for the develeopment of sports and top athletes/sportsman.

The Agenda of the Conference covered cooperation with all project partners and targeted local self governances and it was based on presentations on the theme "Efficiency measures for promotion and development of sports and youth integration through sport", open discussions, as well as share of experience and best practices.
